This Privacy Policy (together with our terms and conditions and any other documents referred to on it) is about how any personal data we may collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be collected, stored processed and used by us. Please read the following carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it.

By visiting our website and using our services you acknowledge of having read and fully taken into account this Privacy Policy. The Company acknowledges that in collecting your personal details it is bound by the Laws of Republic of Malta and will process your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation. Here at Ecoingot we take great steps to keep your personal data safe. We store your data through a password-protected cloud-based software, included with a two-step verification process. We restrict access to members and destroy any data that is no longer required. All Ecoingot staff use anti-virus software to further increase safety and decrease the risks of any phishing or malware attacks. Please take the time to read our compliance framework for more information and our Incident response. This is all in accordance with this privacy policy.

The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside of the European Economic Area (“EEA”). It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers. Such staff maybe engaged in, for example, the provision of support services to Ecoingot.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access as mentioned above.

The GDPR act gives you the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the GDPR Act. Questions, comments and requests regarding this privacy policy are welcomed, you can exercise this right at any time by contacting our data protection offer at privacy@ecoingot.com.

Any requests of privacy information will be dealt with within a one-month time frame in accordance to GDPR Rec.59; Art.12(3)-(4). Where numerous requests are made, or especially complex requests, the time limit may be extended by a maximum of two further months.
